APS: World leader in legal support services for over 30 years!

    CORPORATE HISTORY

APS International, Ltd. began in 1968 by providing unprecedented, professional, efficient national service of process for attorneys across the U.S.  In delivering these services throughout the country, APS founders saw a void in the knowledge of attorneys to serve process beyond U.S. borders.  APS quickly developed an expertise in international service of process when the company founder was asked by a local attorney to serve a lawsuit in France. Instead of having to contact a French attorney for assistance, APS vowed they would become experts at serving documents abroad. And they did!

The surge in APS' international business brought with it the necessity to translate documents for processing under the Hague Convention and other foreign treaties. Now, APS can and has translated documents into and from every major language in the world and has translated documents into such obscure languages as Latvian, Icelandic, Slovenian and even Latin! Who ever said it was a "dead language?"

From there, APS expanded its business into the medical records and documentary evidence research, collection, copying, and organizing services, a natural extension of its product offerings to lawyers, businesses, and insurance companies. Nationwide court reporting and national and international surveillance, investigations, and evidence gathering became another natural progression of the business, rounding out APS' full-service umbrella and making it the nation's only "one-stop-shop" for all a lawyer's litigation support needs!

In the late 1990's, APS Financial Corp. was formed to meet the growing needs of APS clients whose practices required massive expenditures on everything from large litigation cases to high-volume practices. APS Financial confidently provides finanicial backing for law firms allowing those firms to have all there litigation support needs and funding net under one umbrella, freeing their practices of paralyzing time and money constraints.

For years, APS published a Legal Support Handbook and is proud to announce that the "old handbook" is coming back by popular demand. (Date of publication TBA!) In 2002, APS published another useful magazine called the "Legal Ease Resource Guide" which was and continues to be well-received by APS customers worldwide.

APS employs attorneys, paralegals and legal support personnel nationwide to meet the growing demands of its worldwide clientele. APS has done or is doing business currently with many of the law firms on the nation's "TOP 1000 Law Firms" list published by American Lawyer.

Unlike other companies out there which provide piecemeal litigation support, APS offers all necessary legal support services under one roof and has earned the reputation for being the "go to" company for completing these tasks professionally, efficiently, and cost-effectively.
