    J.S.D. & Associates, Inc.

This claimant had been on Workers Compensation, with a Severe Back Injury since 2001. He owned his own business conducting home repairs. After the injury he stated to the insurance company that he was "unable to continue to work, own or operate his business," and collected a check every month for almost 4 years.

In early February of 2006, J.S.D. & ASSOCIATES, INC. was assigned the case to determine his level of activity. A background check determined their were no listings for his business. On the first day of surveillance, the investigator quickly learned the subject still owned and operated his business. Magnetic signs were placed on the sides of his pickup. As you see in the pictures to the left and right, the subject dug trenches for a sprinkler system on a newly built home, utilizing a hoe, shovel and several other yard tools.
