    Chippewa Investigations

Chippewa Investigations is an Arizona Private Investigations firm that was founded in 1982. It changed its name from CPI Investigations which was started in 1975 by Jack Westwood.

Prior to starting CPI Investigations Mr. Westwood was a police officer with local and government agencies for 15 and a half years. He has extensive experience in the investigative field and is able to handle any type of investigation in the criminal sector.

While serving as a police officer in the State of Kentucky Mr. Westwood was solely responsible for the tracking down and capture of two mass murderers that had committed 12 homicides and wounded several other people during and after their escape from the federal lockup. Mr. Westwood was awarded Police Officer of the year for this feat and was appointed a Kentucky Colonel by then Governor Wendell H Ford. Mr. Westwood has received many citations and commendations throughout the years as an investigator.

Mr. Westwood and his team are very proud of their awards and citations but they all say they cannot hold a candle to the satisfaction they feel when they have succeeded in helping solve someone else's problems. Chippewa Investigations takes pride in how all their cases are handled. All Chippewa investigations employees all have several years experience in the investigative field and all are personally trained by Mr. Westwood even though all of them have extensive police or governmental background and training.

We have an investigative accountant with over 28 years experience in our business department that handles audit, embezzlement and money related matters. We have male, female and bi-lingual agents available to assist you.

Since starting Chippewa Investigations Mr. Westwood has been involved in many high profile cases from sexual harassment in the work place to major homicides. He has been voted Investigator Of The Year on four separate occasions by the Bar Association and presented with many other awards from different organizations.

Mr. Westwood makes himself available to schools and other organizations to conduct seminars and training on subjects related to his profession.

Chippewa Investigations has a code of ethics that states, "every one's problems are very real to them and we are here to help solve that problem as best we can no matter how large or how small it may seem to us. Excuses are no substitute for excellence, "

Jack Westwood owner of Chippewa Investigations has over 45 years of combined law enforcement and investigative experience and Chippewa Investigations as a company has over 165 years of combined law enforcement and investigative experience to help serve you. Mr. Westwood holds a Bachelors (BA) degree in criminology, a Masters (MBA) in criminal justice and a Doctorate (PHD) in criminology.
