    Italy Private Investigator

    INTRODUCTION

GRUPPO S.I.T.'s staff has extensive and varied experience in the practice of Private Investigative services and other related fields such as Corporate Management, Executive Protection, Electronic and Information Technology Security and Maritime Security.

GRUPPO S.I.T. holds Private Investigator License nr. 228/00 issued by the Venice Prefecture. In order to obtain a P.I. license in Italy an applicant must provide proof of verifiable experience and must undergo a thorough background investigation that includes civil, criminal, moral, financial and credit history checks. Personal and corporate financial background checks are also conducted. Italian legislation also requires that PI office locations, and their physical security measures be checked and approved. All staff-members must also be subjected to a thorough background investigation. Our PI License is endorsed for Debt Recovery and Repossession and we are also licensed for Criminal Defence Investigations (license nr. 286/01). The Italian Criminal Proceedings Code limits issue of this additional license only to established PIs with a specific experience.

In accordance with both EU and Italian legislation, we are duly registered with the following authorities: V.A.T., Italian Data Processing (“Privacy”) Authority and the Venice Chamber of Commerce.

Through our offices conveniently situated on the Venetian mainland, close to The Venice International Airport, motorway tollgate, Seaport and railway station, we directly cover our client’s investigative and related needs across all Italy. In order to provide Global service we have established a network of tested and trustworthy licensed PI correspondents Worldwide.

We are able to provide timely and detailed information to our clients through links to a number of investigative and information databases.

Our Investigators are all fluent in English while our director Paolo Sfriso, born and educated in London, holds dual British and Italian citizenship
