    CIPRIANO INVESTIGATIONS

    Cipriano Investigations

Please, allow me to introduce myself. My name is Nicholas Cipriano. I am a licensed private detective and I have been active in the industry for over twenty-five years.

Early in my career, I realized a great public misconception concerning the private detective profession. The entertainment industry has created an intriguing image of what they believe an entertaining P.I. should be. Unfortunately, for detective thriller fanatics, these “Hollywood P.I.’s” are inconsistent with the truth. In fact, the work of a real P.I. is very different. Maybe someday I will write a book concerning the topic but as for now, I will simply offer a glimpse of what it takes to become a private detective.

First of all, a private detective can not operate without a license. A detective who operates without a license does so unlawfully and places his or her client at dangerous and expensive risks. I am a licensed private detective. I am licensed with the Pennsylvania District Attorney’s office and with the Pennsylvania State Police.

To be granted a license, a potential P.I. must meet or surpass a long list of stringent qualifications and undergo an extensive background investigation. Only when all of the qualifications are met can a person apply for a P.I. license.

Police officers and private detectives undergo the same type of background investigation prior to employment or licensing. The only difference is that a P.I. background investigation is repeated every two years in order to keep their report updated.

I have owned and operated Cipriano Investigations for many years. I am very proud of my company and everyone who is associated with it. If you believe that Cipriano Investigations may be able to help you then please, contact us. I would be more than happy to personally answer any questions that you may have concerning our services. All information shared with Cipriano Investigations is held in strict confidence.

    Yours Sincerely,

    Nicholas P. Cipriano Jr.
    Private Detective
