    Legal Investigations, Inc. is a professional investigative corporation formed around the concept of providing competent, ethical, and economical field services. Formed in 1973, LII has obtained many years of experience in working with private individuals, insurance professionals, attorneys, and the business community.

    Legal Investigations, Inc. is licensed and insured to conduct investigations in Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, D.C. We have a wide variety of investigations offered.

    Legal Investigations, Inc. has been conducting insurance investigations since 1973 in the worker's comp, bodily injury, disability, and property/casualty areas. Our staff provides still and video surveillance, locates and interviews witnesses, produces court qualified experts, and conducts extensive background investigations on claimants. LII conducts activity checks for limited budget cases and supports SIU units and adjusters in everyday claims defense.

    Legal Investigations, Inc. has conducted successful defense investigations for such crimes as embezzlement, rape, murder, armed robbery, and forgery. These investigations are very specific in nature but contain basic investigative elements. They include complete witness background checks and locates, evidence analysis, polygraph examination, surveillance when necessary, crime reenactment using video equipment, and jury venial.

    Legal Investigations, Inc. has conducted over 2000 domestic cases that have included marital infidelity, child custody matters, and background investigations. All investigations are conducted to ensure effective testimony in court. Photographs and videotape are standard to insure that testimony and evidence will be effective in court
