    Workplace Issues Investigations

    Background Investigations
Negligent hiring, negligent supervision and negligent retention are potential causes of legal action against employers. These actions are different from the traditional vicarious or imputed liability faced by employers for the actions of their employees.
This type of negligence occurs when an employer fails to perform adequate background investigation on an offending employee, and such investigation would have reasonably revealed facts that the employee presented a risk.
Remember, the word risk could also include incompetent conduct. In other words the employer failed to exercise reasonable care in the selection and supervision of the employee.
The degree of investigation necessary varies depending on the risk presented by the position being filled. Risk can generally be measured by the access a position offers to a variety of potential factors such as weapons, vehicles, private residences, keys, children, the elderly etc.
Our services are custom tailored to fit your unique needs.

    Criminal Investigations
Theft, sabotage, espionage and embezzlement are not a normal part of business. We can help you reverse these trends and turn them into bottom line credits. Our investigators are sensitive to maintaining employee morale and we observe strict confidence in addressing your concerns. We will not let position or previously earned laurels influence our investigation. We can help you eliminate the whole problem not just the most visible part.

    Undercover Investigations
Internal intelligence is the most effective tool available to management in the fight against dishonesty, espionage, sabotage, & substance abuse in the workplace.
Our undercover operatives become your eyes and ears in the workplace. All operatives receive detailed comprehensive training, have undergone rigorous background investigations, and are closely monitored and supervised throughout the assignment.

    Claims Fraud Investigations
Fraudulent accident, disability, workers compensation claims etc are a growing problem for employers and insurers. Knowledge of the facts can reduce or eliminate settlement costs.

    Integrity Testing
